Second training session in Tajonar
Club Atlético Osasuna will end its preseason with a friendly match at El Sadar. The opponent will be Al Ain Football Club, the reigning champion of the United Arab Emirates, which won the AFC Champions League just two seasons ago. The match will take place on August 8 at 8:00 p.m.
Club members can attend the match for free. To do so, they simply need to present their 2026/27 season membership card at the stadium. Additionally, members in special discounted categories (Under-23, Under-17, Under-14, Txiki, and 65+) may lend their membership cards to people in different age categories for this match. With this measure, the club aims to make it easier for members to attend the match at a time when some of them will be on vacation.
Tickets for the general public will be affordably priced. All tickets (with the exception of box seats and VIP areas) will cost 10 euros. Ticket sales will begin on Thursday, July 30, at 9:30 a.m. via the club’s website.
To ensure a good turnout at the stadium, Osasuna asks members who cannot attend the match and do not plan to lend their membership card to someone else to return it to the Member Services Office so that Osasuna can make their seat available for sale and allow another fan to attend. There will be no financial compensation for transferring a season ticket for this match.
A roster featuring three World Cup players
Al Ain is a sports club named after its city, the third-most populous in the United Arab Emirates. It is the country’s most successful soccer team, having won fifteen league titles, the most recent of which came this past season. It has also been crowned champion of the AFC Champions League twice (2002 and 2024) and finished as runner-up in two other editions (2005 and 2016). It was also the runner-up in the 2018 Club World Cup after losing to Real Madrid in the final, having eliminated River Plate in the semifinals. Their current coach is Serbian Vladimir Ivić, and three of their players have competed in the World Cup: Ramy Rabia (Egypt), Alejandro Romero “Kaku” (Paraguay), and Soufiane Rahimi (Morocco), the latter of whom scored two goals in the tournament.
